Gaza – DWRC launched a five-day vocational training course in the Middle Gaza Governorate with the participation of 20 women entrepreneurs, as part of its programs aimed at supporting women and empowering them economically in light of the difficult living and economic conditions in the Gaza Strip. The course focuses on providing participants with basic skills in the field of project management, marketing, financial management, and personal skills development, which will contribute to developing their capabilities and enhancing the sustainability of their small income-generating projects. Following the training, financial and technical support and advice will be provided for women’s income-generating projects. Other groups of women will also be targeted in the northern and southern Gaza governorates.

This activity is part of the second phase of the project “Contributing to Gender Justice and Women’s Human Rights in the Middle East”, which is implemented by DWRC in partnership with Fundació Pau i Solidaritat CCOO de Catalunya and funded by the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation
