March 2025 – Gaza
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Democracy and Workers Rights Center in Palestine organized a meeting in Gaza with the participation of women representatives from partner institutions and labor unions that are part of the national coalition “My Right.”
The event focused on discussing the devastating impact of the war on women, including working women and women with disabilities. It aimed to explore ways to alleviate their suffering and to strengthen and empower their resilience.
During the meeting, a call to action was launched to advocate for women’s rights in Palestine, emphasizing the urgent need to ensure protection for women and to promote practical solidarity with Palestinian women. The call urged the international community to support Palestinian women and stand by their legitimate rights and demands.
